Love to cook or want to hone your culinary skills? Our Saturday ‘Market Fresh' classes are perfect for beginner chefs who want to learn the basics of baking, preserving or classic cooking techniques. Classes are small – usually 12 to 18 people – and cost $50/per person plus HST.


If you are looking for an alternative to dining out, Friday Night 'Dinner Party' classes are held in the fall, winter and spring. These classes are designed to help you entertain at home, and are a great way to explore the diverse ingredients SLM has to offer. These classes allow you to work as part of a team to create a culturally-themed meal, inspired by places such as Tuscany, Morocco or Provence. Then, sit down and enjoy being served a three course meal that you helped prepare! Includes cheese and wine pairing tips. Wine and beer are for sale by the glass. Classes are usually 18 people and cost $90/per person plus HST.
